Tennis Staff

Dave is one of the top tennis professionals in the Westchester area. Prior to leading the Tennis program at Brae Burn, he served as Director of Tennis at Ridgeway Country Club for 21 years and continues to serve as the Head Professional at Sound Shore Indoor Tennis Club in the off season. At Sound Shore, he has created what is considered the most popular Women's Adult Clinic program which he has implemented at Brae Burn. In addition, Dave is the Director of the area's largest Junior Tournament Training program. Over the years, he has personally coached many top juniors who have gone on to successful high school and intercollegiate varsity tennis careers. Dave has brought to Brae Burn a wealth of experience in teaching, coaching and program implementation.

Patrick is starting his 15th year at Brae Burn and is one of the most popular pros in Westchester. He was a former top five junior in Zimbabwe, and played his college tennis at Jackson State University in Mississippi. During the winter season Patrick is a Senior Pro at the Rye Racquet Club. Prior to Brae Burn he taught at Sunningdale CC and the Larchmont Shore Club. He’s always fun to be around and makes Tennis exciting.

Suley’s tennis journey began in Turkmenistan, where he consistently ranked at the top of national and international junior circuits. After high school, he brought his athletic talents to the United States, attending SUNY Purchase where he truly excelled on the tennis court. During his senior year, Suley achieved an extraordinary undefeated record of 10-0 in singles at the No. 1 position. His outstanding performance earned him the prestigious Scholar-Athlete Award. Suley has taught the last 4 seasons at Westchester Tennis Center and quickly has become one of their most popular Pros.

Darina is from Chornomorsk, Ukraine. She is a graduate of West Alabama University where she was a top player. Prior to Brae Burn Darina spent the previous two summers teaching at the prestigious Meadow Club in Southampton. She has quickly become one of the most popular pros at Westchester Tennis Center where she teaches full time in the winter season. Growing up she was consistently one of the top ranked junior players in the Ukraine and had a Women's Tennis Association professional doubles ranking while playing on the pro tour as an amateur.

Sofie grew up in Bueno Aries, Argentina where she was consistently ranked among the top 3 players in junior competition. She earned a scholarship to Northwestern State University in Louisiana where she starred on the team. Sofie taught the last 3 summers at Armonk Tennis Club where she was recognized for her professionalism and quality of work on court.

Sasha, originally from Ukraine, was introduced to tennis by his mother at the age of five. What began as a childhood hobby quickly became a passion, and by age nine he was ranked No. 2 among junior players in the country. His early success and experience representing the Ukrainian National Team earned him a scholarship to a leading tennis academy in Barcelona, Spain, where he trained and competed while completing his education. At 17, Sasha graduated from high school in Spain and received a full athletic scholarship to Nicholls State University in Louisiana. There he played No. 1 singles and doubles while earning a degree in Management and Marketing. Today, Sasha serves as Head Tennis and Platform Tennis Professional and Pickleball Director at Coveleigh Club and Platform Tennis Director at Brae Burn Country Club, bringing energy, professionalism, and a player-focused approach to every program he leads.
